Commerce in higher secondary is taught in senior secondary school to build the very base of students who are interested to become experts in many important fields like accounting, marketing management, financial management, production management, etc. Wisdom Junior College provides the combination of Accountancy, Business Studies, English, Mil Hindi /Assamese/ Alte, and Economics/ Banking / CMST. Business studies primarily focusess on impartimg the knowledge of formation, types, and other important aspects of business. Where as Accountancy focuses on providing an introduction to the various forms of accounts like Journal, Ledger, Profit and Loss account, Balance Sheet, Accounting for Not-for-profit organization, Accounting for Partnership and Corporations, etc. Economics syllabus includes the basic concepts of Economics like demand, supply, economic development and growth, GDP, etc.  Banking imparts the various important features of Indian banking sustem and CMST or Commercial Maths helps students solve commercial problems with the help of mathematics.

(v) Banking
